I’m Danny Kirk. I’ve been a Pastor, Church Planter, Organizational Leader and Church Growth Strategist for thirty years and I’m passionate about using my skills as a coach to help you achieve the big goals you have in front of you.
I have been married to Carolyn for 40 years. We have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. I have served as a pastor/church planter for 36 years. I am now on staff as the Community Pastor at a new church plant, Grace Hills Church in Rogers, AR. I have been involved in mentoring and coaching roles for church planters for the BMA of America for the past 9 years. I am currently serve as the Church Planting Assessment Coordinator, trainer, and coach for the Baptist Missionary Association of America Missions Department.
I attended the Baptist Missionary Association of America (BMAA) Seminary in Jacksonville, TX. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, TX and a Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Louisville, KY.
I have been involved in church planting nearly all of my Christian life. I was saved at a new church plant in Union, Missouri and soon became a member of a North American church plant in Oswego, IL, where I surrendered to the ministry in 1980. My first pastorate was a church plant in Livingston, TX. After graduating from college, I returned to Illinois and was a church planter in Carbondale, IL and Sandwich, IL for the BMA of America. In 1992, I was called to Scottsville Road Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY to complete the transition from a mission church to a full support church. In 2000, I became the Director of Missions for the BMA of Missouri and served 15 years.
While in Kentucky, I was a bi-vocational pastor, working in a mental health facility and was a start up partner in a Christian Counseling Center. With my background in counseling and passion for church planting, I have felt God’s leading in the area of Christian Coaching. After much hard work and nearly 500 hours of coaching I was certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) in August 2012.
I’d like to coach you for the next three months using what I’ve learned. Each month we will have a 60-minute telephone coaching sessions for an agreed upon amount. We can talk by phone, Skype, or Face Time.
You are at my website because you are someone who knows where you’re going, gets things done, and are growing and changing regularly. Coaching will accelerate those things. I want to develop a coaching relationship with people who are ready to take advantage of what coaching offers them.
We can work on whatever you’d like, it’s totally your agenda.
